Erica Lane Album Release Concert Party to be Held at Nashville's Rocketown on May 28th

(NASHVILLE, Tennessee) -- In celebration of the release of her new EP, "Take Your Burden Down," Nashville-based recording artist Erica Lane will host an Album Release Concert Party at Rocketown's White Building (522 5th Avenue South, Nashville, TN) on Wednesday, May 28th at 6:00 p.m.

Lane will showcase songs from the EP, followed by a mix and mingle party with light hors d'oeuvres. Nashville's shaylee&scott will open for Lane at the event, which will be emceed by Doug Griffin from 94FM The Fish.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance at Uniiverse.com.

"Take Your Burden Down" was released on April 1st via Saylors Brothers Entertainment. Produced by GRAMMY® and Dove Award winner Bryan Lenox (Michael W. Smith, The Katinas, Enrique Iglesias), the 5-song EP includes the new radio single, "Burden." In June, Lane will embark on a radio concert tour with September Day Records artist Tammy Trent and Inpop Records artist Everyday Sunday.

Lane also wrote and recorded the song, "For Those Who Love Him," as the theme song for the new motion picture, Veil of Tears (www.veiloftearsmovie.com), from Word Films and Gospel for Asia. An official music video was released last month, and the single is available now at iTunes and Amazon.

A former Miss Houston and Top 10 US Miss World, Lane is a prolific vocalist and songwriter, and has toured the United States and abroad performing alongside such notables as Jon Voight, George Lopez and Chonda Pierce. Lane, whose music has been featured in nearly a dozen film and television soundtracks, starred in the family-friendly reality TV series, "Inspired Ambition," syndicated on national networks (FamilyNet, JCTV, Cornerstone TV) in the USA, Canada, Africa, Estonia, Finland, Poland, Romania, India and others.
